Extra Credit Two
Lesson Two EC is due by or on June 15th, at 11:59pm HOL time. In order to submit, please send your answers to [email protected] with the Subject “Intro Divination - EC2- (HOL ID)”. At the very top of the body of your email (so above your answers), please put your HOL name, HOL ID, and house. For example, I would put “Intro Divination - EC2 - ha412″ as the subject, and would begin the body of my email with “Hailey Potter, ha412, Gryffindor”.

Below are two options. Please only choose one to complete for your 30 points.
Option One: Research Essay
In this month's lesson, we've covered western astrology and eastern astrology. Your job is to choose one and then do some research on your birthday. Then, I would like to see at least 300 words written about what you discovered about yourself based on the information you found. I would like to see the following things in your short essay:
Option Two: Horoscope
At Hogwarts, Divination students were expected to create their own horoscopes. Now, it is your turn! While I don't expect it to be accurate (that would take way too much time!), I'd like you to create something like what you would imagine your horoscope to look like. The only thing I require is that you tell me your birthday and your sun sign. I should see the sun symbol in your sign (just like the sun symbol is in Harry's sun sign of Leo in the lesson). Anything else, it's up to you! You can make a simple one like the example in the lesson, or you can make a shiny one with a cool bakground. Just have fun with it!

Then, I would like to see at least 300 words written about what you discovered about yourself based on the information you found. I would like to see the following things in your short essay:
- When is your birthday?
- What is your sun/animal sign? What does that say about you?
- What is your celestial body/planet? What is your element? What does this say about you?
- If you're doing eastern astrology, are you yin or yang? What does this say about you?
- Do you agree with what you've discovered? Does this fit your personality? Why or why not? Tell me what fits and what does not.
