Class Project
The Class Project is due by or on June 15th, at 11:59pm HOL time. In order to submit, please send your project to [email protected] with the Subject “Intro Divination - Project - (HOL ID)”. At the very top of the body of your email (so above your answers), please put your HOL name, HOL ID, and house. For example, I would put “Intro Divination - Project - pr_hai″ as the subject, and would begin the body of my email with “Prof. Hailey Potter, pr_hai, Gryffindor”.
Please do NOT send your homework as an attachment. It will not be accepted if sent in this way!
Below are two options. Please only choose one to complete for your 30 points.
Option One: Opinion
Over this course, we have covered five of the twelve methods of divination. What I would like you to do is take some time to write your opinions you have formed of each of divination as a whole and the five methods we have learned so far. I want you to discuss each of the five methods we have covered. I want you to briefly in your own words explain what they are and then tell me whether or not you believe they are accurate. Cite your evidence using the text from our lessons. I expect 300 words minimum and all five methods to be mentioned for you to get full credit on this assignment.
Option Two: Creative
Forget writing about it, you want to actually do some divination! Pick two of the five methods to try. I would like a picture to accompany each method you attempt. Not sure what I mean by that? Let me give you an example. If I chose palmistry as one of the five methods to try, I would take a picture of a friend or family member's hand (or maybe my own!) and then I would explain what I see in the lines. For full credit, I want two pictures of you trying two of the five methods, and a 50 word minimum explanation of what you saw in each (100 words in all). Please remember to upload your images to a photo hosting site and then send me the link.
